For insurance & peace of mind

Our in-house appraisal provides a professional record of your jewellery’s key details and replacement value, prepared by the same team who designed and crafted your piece.

Each document is created individually and includes:

• A detailed description of your jewellery - including metal type, gemstones, dimensions, and design features.

• High-quality photographs for visual identification.

• The current replacement value based on today’s precious metal and gemstone prices.

• Notes on craftsmanship, hallmarking, and provenance

• Confirmation that diamonds, sapphires and other gems used are conflict-free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by our trusted suppliers.

• Signature and certification by Lelya's director.

Your appraisal is delivered as a PDF document and can be used to support insurance coverage or valuation records.

While most insurers accept this type of appraisal, some may occasionally request a valuation from an independent Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV) member - typically only for antique, inherited, or second-hand items where the original purchase details are unknown.

If you purchased your jewellery from us, we already hold all technical details of your piece, making the process quick and seamless.
